Vinland Saga (Manga)

Bio

The first season of WIT Studio's animated series Vinland Saga began on July 8 and concluded on December 29, 2019. The first 54 chapters of the manga (the War Arc) were covered in the 24-episode season.

On July 7, 2021, the second season of Vinland Saga was revealed. The majority of Season 1's core personnel—including director Yabuta Shuhei, character design and animation director Abiru Takahiko, and Yamada Yutaka for the music—returned for Season 2, but MAPPA took over for the animation. Season 2 began on January 10 and concluded on June 20 of that same year. The Slave Arc (Chapters 55–99) and the start of the Eastern Expedition Arc (Chapters 100 and pages 19–25 of 101) were covered in the 24-episode season.
